COVID-19 Clinic Update

Message from Dr. Ailin Oishi-Stamatiou

Hello Patients,

I am very excited to announce that we have now been given the go ahead from the Ministry of Health to re-open our clinic for in-person care! Over the past few weeks, I have been actively preparing to get the clinic ready to welcome you back for in-person care in a way that protects you, and the community.

Here are the steps I am taking to create a safe environment:

  • I will be wearing PPE: KN95 masks, face shields, gown and protective gloves.
  • Regular hand washing, sanitizing and maintaining a physical distance of 6ft, when not providing direct care.
  • All reception and common areas will be sanitized at least once every 3 hours.
  • Treatment room and equipment will be sanitized between each patient visit.
  • Hand sanitizer will be made available for all patients to use when visiting the clinic.
  • Fewer and spaced out patient bookings will be made to allow for physical distancing within the clinic and to ensure sufficient time is available to clean the treatment room & equipment.

As a patient, this is how you can prepare for your visit:

  • Bring your own mask, as you are REQUIRED to wear one upon arrival and for the duration of your visit while in the clinic. Examples of masks: a procedural/surgical mask, cloth covering, scarf or any other homemade mask that covers your mouth and nose.
  • Sanitize your hands as you enter and leave the clinic.
  • Only patients with an appointment are allowed in the clinic. The patient can be accompanied if they are a child or have difficulty ambulating; family members can wait outside the clinic.

Not ready to come in yet…No problem, try virtual care:

Virtual care is remote appointment, conducted by a Chiropractor or other health professional, either over the telephone or through a secure video conferencing application using your computer (with webcam), tablet (e.g., iPad) or smart-phone (iPhone or Android). Virtual care appointments can be highly effective and beneficial. Even without passive or hands-on treatments, there’s a lot that can be done to help ensure that your condition continues to improve. Of course, if your condition is acute or reaches emergency levels, your practitioner can also provide guidance on how best to meet those needs.

Call 416-425-9730 or send us an email to book your next appointment today.

While this has certainly been a trying time, I am very excited to be re-opening and to be able to reconnect with you so that we can help you get back to optimum health. We hope to see you soon and, in the meantime, please stay safe, stay healthy and, of course, let us know if you have any questions!

Sincerely,
Dr. Ailin Oishi-Stamatiou
